It’s that time of year again. Some overachievers have already picked their shalach manos theme while others are gearing to go classic.

Whichever way you choose, Romanian’s mini salamis are the perfect addition to any shalach manos.

Now accepting preorders for Romanian Kosher purim salamis. These adorable and delicious 9 oz. salamis are listed at $8.25 (estimated weight.)

Keep in mind that Romanian only makes a small quantity of these mini salamis, so get them while supplies last.

For those who need a little extra inspiration, here are our top ways to use these salamis in your shalach manos.

1. Meat and wine

This simple shalach manos idea is sure to impress family and friends. Meat and wine are a famous pairing, so what better way to enhance simcha on Purim than to gift someone with this.

To prepare your shalach manos, all you’ll need is a bottle of wine and a 9 oz. salami to drape over it. You can glam it up with a bow or cellophane, but no matter how you package it this effortless shalach manos idea will definitely bring joy to those you share it with.

2. Enhance a basket

Packing shalach manos with family is a special experience of connection. Whether you have a theme or not, a 9 oz. salami can go with just about anything.

One of our customers sent in this picture of salami with bread, chips, drinks and a hamentashen. She even added a “Shushan Deli” menu to go along with it.

We are obsessed with Jacki Barron’s ‘Shushan Deli’ Shalach Manos.

3. Send it with a recipe

Everyone has their favorite recipe with salami. Whether it’s one of Iwantromanian’s “Three easy and delicious salami hacks” or your own recipe, share it with friends and family.

Sending one of your personal favorite recipes with your shalach manos is a creative way to bring joy to everyone this Purim.

4. Pair it with a caramel apple

Love the idea of sending something sweet and savory? Then this next one is especially for you! For this shalach manos idea, pair the mini salami with a pareve caramel apple. There are plenty of recipes for pareve or dairy-free caramel apples online.

Once you have yours made and wrapped, simply attach the salami to the stick and it’s ready to go.

5. The perfect box

It can be such a simply yet elegant idea to give a small box with goodies as a shalach manos. Fill a small box with some shredded paper and find a few items to pair with the salami. Some of our favorites include:

  • Soda or seltzer water
  • A small baguette
  • Crackers
  • Fruit
  • Muddy Buddies or hamentashen

6. Purim-style charcuterie board

One of our personal favorite ideas is to prepare a small charcuterie board and wrap it in cellophane with a bow. This shalach manos idea is sure to impress and will be a delicious addition to the Purim seuda, as well.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Small cutting board
  • 9 oz romanian salami
  • Other delicious Romanian meats like salami sticks
  • Assorted crackers
  • Fruits and vegetables
  • Condiments and dips
  • Hamentashen (sweet or savory!)

Chop the salami and lay out the meats on the board. Surround them with crackers, fruits and vegetables and other dips.
